A UK casino complex could be built in Huddersfield as part of a shake-up of gambling laws.
Secret considerations have been made within Kirklees Council as to whether to apply for a licence to house a new gambling den.
The government plans to allow 17 casinos to open across the country - one super casino, eight large casinos and eight smaller venues.
The super casino would have 1,250 unlimited jackpot gaming machines.
Large casinos will have up to 150 machines with top jackpots of £4,000.
