Gambler Tried To Start UK Casino Fire

A gambler appeared in court yesterday accused of trying to set fire to a casino after losing £40,000 at roulette.

 

Parviz Mashayekhi, 46, is said to have sprayed petrol over staff and gaming tables at the Connoisseur Club, Kensington High Street, London in December 2005.

 

He has been remanded in custody until 9 January 2006.
