Police are hunting a gang who disabled a security system before raiding more than a dozen slot machines at a Teesside amusement arcade.
Detectives say the gang escaped with several thousand pounds after ripping open 13 machines at the Dundas Arcade in Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.
They also damaged other equipment estimated at about £32,000.
A police spokesman said CCTV cameras were smashed as well as a computer hard drive which stored images.
Cleveland Police said the raid was well organised and that no-one was hurt during the incident.
