Bookmakers William Hill have been inundated with punters itching to back thirty six year old Kristina Grimes to go on and win the television show 'The Apprentice'.

"We have had countless calls this week, and feel it is a real pity that the show is pre-recorded, as we think it could be a £1 million betting market." said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.

"We do not know if the enquiries are coming from people who know the outcome or from fans of the show who think Kristina will go on to win. If we were able to take bets on the outcome we would make Kristina the hot 4/6 favourite to be hired by Sir Alan Sugar and would make Simon Ambrose at 11/10."
