You Bet Prince William Will Wed In 2007

William Hill have shortened the price of Prince William getting engaged to Kate Middleton in 2007 from 5/1 to 2/1 and are offering just 4/1 that they will have a full state wedding in 2007.

"We think it is no longer a question of if but when they will get engaged and punters certainly agree," said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.

One punter, Jason Bolton from Kent, has even named the date and placed a £30 bet at 66/1 that William and Kate will get married on the 19th of July 2007. If he is correct he will collect a cheque for £2,010.

"Jason will not tell me why he is so sure but he wanted more than £30 on the bet and has a very plummy voice," said Rupert Adams.
