The Friday, March 24 Mega Millions drawing really brought out the winners.

 

A total of 677,688 tickets from coast to coast won Mega Millions prizes, including nine tickets that only missed the Mega Ball number.

 

Since no ticket in Friday's drawing matched all six numbers, the jackpot for the Tuesday, March 28, 2006 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated $96 million.

 

The winning numbers in Friday's drawing were: 1-2-17-47-49 and the Mega Ball number was 19.

 

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

 

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
