William Hill believe that Tessa Jowell will survive her current political crisis and still be in office on April 1, 2006.
The bookmakers make Tessa Jowell 2/5 to stay in her current position until then and a 7/4 chance to have stood down or been fired by then.
"Ms Jowell was well received in the House of Commons on Monday afternoon" said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe, "But her enemies seem to be active outside of the House."
