The extreme lifestyle of Colin Farrell is over. It took a year for the actor to reconstruct his life. Rehab was a part of this process. Farrell made full use of his work to keep on the straight and narrow. The five years of excessive alcohol and much publicized antics with the opposite sex had taken a heavy toll. However, his current sober way of living has left him looking and feeling in good health. Farrell’s heavy work schedule has resulted in his fans being able to see him in the following films: 

• Pride and Glory (police corruption)

• In Bruges (odd comedy)

• Cassandra’s Dream (Woody Allen – dark comedy)

Farrell is given the opportunity to show his range of acting abilities in these three films. It has been said that his finest dramatic acting in a long time takes place in Pride and Glory. His co-actors in this movie are Edward Norton and Ed Harris. The movie ‘In Bruges’ is a more humorous spoof. The wild card is going to be Woody Allen’s film Cassandra’s Dream. This film is set in London. The story is about a rich uncle and his two down-and-out nephews. The nephews are brothers played by Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. 

According to Farrell, ‘being on the set with Woody is like magic’. He felt being in an Allen film was a great challenge. Actors are only given two or three takes. This is very little in comparison to the ten to 15 takes on other sets. Perfection is not a Woody Allen priority. He wants to capture the fundamental nature of the story and its scenes. Farrell also discovered Ewan McGregor is a good person to hang out with. The three films will be released on the following dates: 

• Pride and glory (14th March)

• In Bruges (4th April)

• Cassandra’s Dream (9th May)

Footballer Husband Given the Boot Chelsea star Ashley Cole thrown out by his singer wife for cheating 

Cheryl Cole of Girls Aloud had no idea that her husband had cheated on her. She found out when the news broke publicly. She is married to high earning Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole. The Coles have been married for eighteen months. The very last thing Cheryl expected to hear was that her husband had betrayed her with another woman. She has only just had a tattoo done on the back of her neck stating ‘Mrs Cole’. 

The 24 year old singer told her 27 year old husband to get out of their plush home in Surrey. It is said the football star is remorseful and begged his wife to forgive him. Cheryl wants him out while she thinks things through. The other woman has been named as Aimee Walton. She had sold her story to the media. 

The single mother works as a hairdresser. She blatantly described her romp with Ashley Cole as ‘wild sex’ even though he was drunk enough to throw up. Her acquaintances describe her as a ‘wannabe who’ll do anything for fame’. According to friends Cheryl is devastated and deeply disappointed by the news. Cheryl’s mother is with her in Surrey.
