Colin Murray Backed For Fame Academy

Colin Murray is all the rage to win Celebrity Fame Academy, with bookmakers William Hill cutting his price from 10/1 to 6/1 as punters latch on to his connection with last year's winner, Edith Bowman.

Shaun Williamson remains the 7/4 favourite with Tricia Penrose the nearest challenger at 3/1 and after a performance that can only be described as weak, William Hill have pushed Tara Palmer-Tomkinson out from 12/1 to 16/1.

"Punters are latching on to the fact that Colin Murray and Edith Bowman have similar radio work for the BBC and understandably they see Colin as a good value bet," said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
