Euro Lottery Prize Now At Record High
The EuroMillions jackpot has soared to a record £125m.
Ticket sales had rocketed by 1,000% for Friday night's draw but no-one won, with the result yet another rollover.
That means the £105m prize rises by £20m for next week's draw.
It will be the world's biggest single lottery payout if only one player wins, according to Camelot.
"The win would not only catapult them to the top of the National Lottery rich list, they would also receive the biggest lottery prize ever paid out in the world," a National Lottery spokesman said.
If the jackpot has not been won by Friday February 10, the money will be handed out to any winners in the next winning prize tier in that draw.
The winning numbers for Friday's draw were 9, 21, 15, 40 and 49 and the Lucky Stars were 01 and 04.
The UK's first and biggest EuroMillions jackpot win was scooped by Marion Richardson, from Gateshead, who won £16,752,144.80 in April 2004.
EuroMillions is played in the UK, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Portugal, France, Luxembourg, Spain and Switzerland.
All the money raised for good causes from ticket sales in the UK stays in the UK.
