Cash Advances Now Cost Less At Over 50 Casinos
Hopeful Casino patrons who use an Arriva Card now pay 25% to 50% less in the service fees imposed by casinos for cash advance transactions at certain casino ATM machines and casino cages.
The reduction applies at over 50 well-known casino properties in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and other major gaming jurisdictions across the country.
When Arriva cardholders use the Arriva Card at any participating casino, they automatically receive 25% to 50% off the casino's service fee on their PIN-based (ATM) or signature (in-person) cash advance.
These discounts are given in the form of rebates credited to the cardholder's account the same day they make the transaction.
Said Todd Smith, VP for Card Services at Global Cash Access, parent of Arriva Card: "Over 50 casinos have already realized how much this program benefits their patrons - and the casino itself. Statistics show that lower cash advance service fees result in more transactions - and thus more cash on the casino floor." Early data show that Arriva card usage among Arriva cardholders represents at least a 40% share of their wallet; in other words, Arriva cardholders are using the card for 40% of their casino credit card transactions, he added.
The Arriva Card was introduced to responsible in-casino cash advance customers just six months ago in a limited initial launch. "As a result of Arriva's popularity, an additional $15 million in cash has been put on casinos' floors. In fact, we've learned that the average cash advance transaction with the Arriva Card is twice the size of similar in-casino transactions with traditional credit cards - in part because of the favorable terms we offer. And our new reduced casino service fee program means that casinos can really maximize Arriva's advantages by providing a valuable incentive to their best patrons," said Mr. Smith.
