Ruth Kelly Set To Be Voted Out At General Election
William Hill have doubled Ruth Kelly's odds of becoming Deputy Prime Minister in succession to John Prescott from 50/1 to 100/1 and no longer make her favourite to retain her seat in the Bolton West constituency, for which she is now an Even money shot, with the Conservatives odds-on favourites at 8/11 to win it at the next General Election.
Bets are void if Ms Kelly does not stand in Bolton West.
Ms Kelly is also out from 12/1 to 25/1 with the bookies to become Education Minister in Gordon Brown's (or whoever beats him to become leader) first Cabinet.
William Hill currently make Gordon Brown 1/9 favourite to succeed Blair as Labour Leader, and Hilary Benn 7/2 favourite to become the next Deputy Leader, of the Labour Party.
Hilliam Hill make John Reid 5/1 second favourite to become Leader and also offer 25/1 Miliband; 33/1 Benn (H); Hain; Milburn.
John Cruddas is 9/2 second favourite to become Deputy Leader and the bookies also offer 6/1 Hain; Johnson; 7 Harman; 8 Blears; Miliband; 14 Jowell; Straw; 20 Reid, 100 Kelly.
