Celebs join charity poker match to raises thousands for the homeless
Stakes are rising as preparations get under way for Saturdays Simon Poker Day, to be held in Dublin.
The charity match is hoping to raise 100,000 for the Simon homeless charity, doubling last years total of 50,000.
Donated prizes include a seat to next years Irish Poker Championship, worth 2,000, and entry to the Monte Carlo European Poker Tour, worth 10,000.
Plenty of stars have signed up for the tournament, including snooker champion Steve Davis, Ken Doherty and footballer Tony Cascarino.
Entry to the day, which will feature world-class poker players, costs 330 with 100 going to the Simon charity.
