39th World Series of Poker: Dates announced
Dates have been announced for next years World Series of Poker, to be held in Las Vegas from May 30th to July 17th 2008.
The tournament, run by Harrahs Entertainment and sponsored by Milwaukee's Best Light, will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
The World Series has become such a huge event that organizers have to start planning months in advance. The exact schedule is still on the drawing table, but it has been announced that the WSOP tournament room will be opened a week earlier, on May 26th for two special events. This soft opening will allow players to register early and avoid the long lines previously seen at the opening weekend.
