Sporting Washouts
Bookmakers William Hill are offering odds of 3/1 that a Wimbledon washout will see the tournament forced into a third week's play (2/9 that it will not); and have cut the odds about rain falling during the British Grand Prix from 3/1 to 2/1. "With showers forecast throughout the rest of the week both Wimbledon and the Grand Prix are vulnerable to the weather" said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
