Looks To Make April Fools Out Of Bookies
An expectant father Robert
Staples, from Derby, has found a novel way to make fools out
of his bookies and has wagered that his child will be born
on April 1st and consequently will be christened a fool for
life.
The baby is due on the
16th of April and will need to be two weeks early for the
parents to collect, the child cannot be induced.
Robert stands to win
£272 if his prediction is correct having been offered
16/1 for a stake of £16 at William
Hill.

Stables said, "Looking at the size of his mother there is no
way that the little blighter is staying in that long and I
am sure that he will spend the great day of April fools day
with his happy and richer parents."
"He will certainly have
made fools of us if he wins,” said William Hill's
spokesman Rupert Adams.
