rush of money for all the Goody family to be removed from
the Big Brother house tonight and, fearing insider
knowledge, were forced to cut the price from 8/1 to 2/1
before suspending at 12:40.
Since then, William Hill
have been able to trace the source to a hoax from a London
based radio station that suggested the Goody family would
all be leaving the house tonight as Thursday is signing on
day!
William Hill's will be
paying out on the off chance that it happens but - in a
shocking wave of generosity - will refund all bets tomorrow
if the Goody Clan are still in the house.
William Hill now offer 4/1
that the Big Brother house will be 'Goody free' by Sunday
night. Dirk Benedict of 'A Team' fame is the new 2/1
favourite with Carol Malone the 33/1
outsider.
"For a couple of hours we
thought we had been royally turned over but fortunately for
us, the rumour seems to have been based on a hoax. But
despite that we are offering 4/1 Big Brother evicts all the
Goody Clan by Sunday night, they have been a ratings
disaster and it could be time for Big Brother to cut its
losses and get rid of them for good," said William Hill's
spokesman Rupert Adams.
