F1 Rookie To Drive William Hill

Following the news that he
is likely to take his place on the grid for McClaren as
early as the first race of next season, William
Hill expect - and
fear - great things from F1 'rookie', Lewis Hamilton, in his
debut season and make him 4/6 to win a Grand Prix in his
first full season.
He is 25/1 to win the
drivers championship at first attempt.
"In the last five years we
have taken hundreds of bets on Lewis Hamilton to win a Grand
Prix at some fancy odds, and I fear we will be paying out in
the forthcoming season. In June 2003 I actually took a bet
of £100 at 100/1 that Hamilton would win the F1 title
in or before 2013, which will pay the Kent customer
£10,000 if it comes off." said William Hill's spokesman
Graham Sharpe.
"His first race win will
set us back a six figure sum and if he lands the title in
the next few seasons we'll be paying out much the same sum
all over again!"
