Big Benn Chance To Be Deputy
Leader
Having launched his
campaign to become Deputy Leader of the Labour Party,
William
Hill have
installed Hilary Benn as 3/1 favourite to do so and also
offer 7/2 Peter Hain; 4/1 Alan Johnson; 5/1 John Cruddas;
9/1 Harriet Harman; 10/1 Tessa Jowell; David Miliband; 12/1
Jack Straw; 20/1 John Reid.
"John Cruddas made all the
early running and was backed from 125/1 to 5/1 but now that
Hilary Benn seems to have thrown his hat into the ring he is
a worthy front-runner" said William Hill's spokesman Graham
Sharpe.
