Farrell To Play For
England?
William
Hill are quoting
Saracens' convert from rugby league to union, Andy Farrell
at 2/1 to play any part in the 6 Nations tournament - and
quote him at 5/6 to play and 5/6 not to play in the Rugby
Union World Cup in 2007.
"Controversy is raging
over Farrell's fast-tracking into the sport and about his
best position, but we believe that if he is over his injury
nightmare there is every chance of him making the World Cup
starting line up" said William Hill's spokesman Graham
Sharpe.
England could certainly
use a quality player - they are currently 12/1 to win the
World Cup with Hils who make New Zealand 11/10 favourites
and offer 7/2 France; 6 S Africa, Australia.
England are 5/2 second
favourites for the 6 Nations for which France are 5/4
favourites with Ireland 10/3; Wales 7/1; Scotland 33/1 and
Italy 250/1.
