Robot Crouch Even Money To Dance
Again
William
Hill are offering
odds of even money that the nation will be entertained by
Peter Crouch's now legendary Robot dance when England take
on Jamaica on Saturday night. William Hill make Crouch a
10/11 chance to score at any time, 6/1 to be first goal
scorer and 20/1 to score a hat-trick.
"I don't think the nation
has ever wanted one particular striker to score so much in
the history on English football." said William Hill's
spokesman Rupert Adams.
Is Beckham Heading For
Hat-trick?
Now that David Beckham has
got his favourite beanie back, William Hill have opened the
betting on whether Beck's will wear the newly returned
Beanie in a World Cup match and offer 7&3/8ths to one
(believed to be his head size) that he does so.
William Hill also offer
8/1 that Beckham wears dark glasses during a match (a la
Davids). In the haircut betting 'Messy Crop' is still Hill's
favourite at even money but they have seen £50 on Bald
from a customer in London at odds of 2/1 and Bald could
become the favourite soon.
"It sounds bonkers to bet
on Beck's wearing a beanie but he has a habit of doing the
extraordinary, so you never know." said William Hill's
spokesman Rupert Adams.
