The FA Cup Final Will Be Played
At Cardiff - Bet On It
Bookmakers
William
Hill are offering
odds of 6/4 against the FA Cup Final being played at the new
Wembley
Stadium this year
- and 1/2 that it will be held in Cardiff.
"When building work began
on the Stadium we believed the projections that the 2005/6
Cup Final would be played at the new Wembley and offered 1/6
that it would happen - but the shrewd punters seem to have
been the ones who took the 7/2 that it would not", said
William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
He added, "Even though
those building the Stadium still reckon they have a 70%
chance of getting it ready on time, we reckon that it is
about a 70% chance that they will miss out."
