The Car's The Star For Roulette
Winner
A
hospital worker has won a new car on a roulette machine in
an amusement arcade.
Simon Fallon, of Larkin
Close, Crook, is now driving a Seat Ibiza 1.4 TDI SX after
hitting the jackpot on the machine at his local family
entertainment centre.
Mr Fallon, 23, who works
in administration at Durham University Hospital, had called
in to Queenie's Casino Slots, in Crook Market Place, to
visit his friend, Andrew Smith, whose family run the
business.
He said: "I often call in
to see Andrew. I don't spend a lot, but we have a bit of a
chat. You have to win six out of six to get the jackpot and
I did.
"I am over the moon. This
has to be the best thing I will ever win."
Heather Smith, director of
Queenie's Casino, said that the win was a great way for the
family business, which was established by her grandmother,
Queenie, and father, Colin, to celebrate its 50th
anniversary.
She said: "It is a nice
way to celebrate, especially because Simon's grandfather was
actually a customer of my father's on the prize bingo 50
years ago."
