Zone4Play Signs Multi-Year
Agreement With Betfair
Zone4Play,
Inc. - a leading
developer of interactive software and technology for the
betting and gaming industry, today announced it has entered
into an agreement with Betfair,
the world's leading betting exchange, to become an affiliate
partner providing mobile exchange betting solutions for the
Betfair community and for non-Betfair users.
Under this agreement,
Zone4Play will create and provide exchange betting solutions
for mobile devices based on the Betfair system. Zone4Play
expects these services to be made available to the Betfair
community in the fourth quarter of 2005.
The service will be
marketed to the 350,000 registered Betfair users as well as
to new customers who use mobile phones as their primary
exchange betting platform. Zone4Play will charge a monthly
subscription fee of Betfair's existing customers who opt for
the mobile betting service. Additionally, Zone4Play will
participate in a betting revenue sharing agreement for new
users who use the service.
This agreement signifies
Zone4Play's leadership position as a driving force in the
industry by providing highly advanced multi-platform
solutions enabling mass participation gaming across mobile
phones, television and the internet.
Idan Miller, Zone4Play's
Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales is quoted,
"This agreement represents an opportunity for Zone4Play to
significantly enhance its position in the multi-billion
dollar mobile sports betting arena. By partnering with the
world's leading online betting exchange company, Zone4Play
will now have the ability to expand its customer base by
marketing to the 350,000 registered users within the Betfair
system and to act as an affiliate partner to Betfair in
order to sign new users to the mobile service."
