Bingo sites to start offering PayPal as payment method

Last updated: 29/08/2010 11:07

Several online bingo operators are about to reintroduce PayPal as a payment method for customers.

There are reports that PayPal, one of the most popular methods of making online payments and transfers, may reappear as an option on online bingo websites. The global service was used by many online bingo and other gambling sites, until a few years ago, but in 2006 it was dropped as it was believed to be unsustainable.

According to PayPal they will now allow “any business or consumer with an email address to securely, conveniently and cost-effectively send and receive payments online.” Several bingo operators have announced that they plan to introduce PayPal to their websites and with many more expected to follow suite customers can now look forward to the many benefits that come with PayPal.

PayPal is extremely safe, when you make a payment your financial details are never shared with sellers or retailers so you are extremely well protected against fraud, and in the event that something goes wrong PayPal will also protect your purchase.

All your details are saved in your PayPal account this saves you having to fill them in online every time you want to make a payment, this means taht you just need to enter your credit card number once in order to make payments at several websites.

Within the UK PayPal is considered to be the preferred web payment method because of its simplicity and security. At any website which offers PayPal as a payment method all you will need is your email address and password and then your purchase will be complete.

It would not be surprising if online bingo operators who do not offer PayPal begin to lose customers, they are a trusted brand and in this age of concerns about fraud and identity theft, PayPal offers an excellent payment service which most people feel secure about using.
