Bingo mum scoops the biggest prize of all

Christine Bradfield won В£1.1 million this week at her local bingo game, scooping the UK s biggest ever bingo prize. This is also believed to be the biggest bingo prize anywhere in the world.

Christine has been a loyal bingo player for years, and has played at her local branch, the Castle Club in South Wales, twice a week for the last 11 years. 

She agreed to split the monster winnings with her friend and sister-in-law Lorraine, as they always play bingo together. She does not plan to give up her part-time job at a garage, and she will certainly not stop playing bingo, one of her favourite hobbies. 

The mega jackpot was made possible because the game was part of the National Bingo Game, which links up 600 bingo halls across the country. This week s prize was a rollover. Christine became the first winner to take the Platinum Jackpot.

Winner Christine has two children and three grandchildren and has plans for a family holiday.
