Debbie. What is your background in online
gambling?
Debbie: I have been
the casino manager of Spin

past three years.

is the brief history of Spin Palace?

Debbie: Rather than
any specific technical innovation, I think the most

Debbie: Security
and social stigmatism remain the biggest barriers to
gambling in general whether online or offline, but as I have
mentioned the security 'barrier' is being gradually
overcome. Likewise, the social stigmatism of gambling are
being eroded in many parts of the world, especially Europe,
but also in the US who traditionally hold a more
conservative attitude towards it.
CasinoTimes: What
type of gambling can you do online that you can't do at a
land-based casino?
Debbie: There is a
much wider variety of casino games and all are available
instantly and in the comfort of your own home!
CasinoTimes: Is the
increasing penetration of broadband bringing new gamblers
online?
Debbie: Definitely.
As with all online sites that contain a sizeable amount of
content the speed of internet connection is very
important.
CasinoTimes: How
can the online gambling community increase the number of
online gamblers in the future?
Debbie: Keep doing
what it has been doing already! The industry has proved
immensely successful thus far and I anticipate this will
continue. I think the level of exposure through various
advertising mediums will increase dramatically in the next
few years that will truly bring the industry into mainstream
culture around whose edges it is teetering at the
moment.
